‘Chalky’ can be described as an “80s style pen-plotter on wheels”, using sidewalk chalk instead of pens. The machine is an attempt to blend digital and analog imaging techniques, using the street as an infinite canvas. For this edition, its graphical output will take the principles of the ZERO movement as a reference. Chalky is initiated by Daan Brinkmann and grew into a full-blown collaboration with René Bakker and Daniel Berio. Find ‘Chalky’ on several spots on the boulevard on Friday and Saturday.
