Maxim Februari is hard to miss: the Dutch philosopher, author and jurist has written columns for several Dutch newspapers and has published over a dozen of books. With a critical eye, Februari looks at our digitizing economy and society.
In his newest novel ‘Lump’ (2017), he researched what our technological future would look like on a personal level. How is ‘the human’ keeping a grip on his surroundings, in a society that is dominated by big data and technology? Februari seems to have a clear message for the reader: never surrender to data, only to life itself.
Please note that the panel Februari will be taking part in is held in Dutch.
