Ewa Justka is a Polish electronic noise artist, teacher and self-taught synth builder based in London. In her artistic work, Ewa attempts to explore the concept of materiality of the hidden, using her home-made machines and the punkish, home-brewed acid techno they create.
Balancing on the intersection between science and music, Justka is involved in a wide array of creative activities, from DIY-workshops to the creation of installations and performances.
Her main field of research is based on the exploration of the materiality of objects, vibrant, ontological systems and an investigation of modes of quasi-direct perception through light-noise performance actions, interactive installation, DIY electronics, hardware hacking, plant-molesting, breaking, deconstructing and collaborating.
She has performed at various festivals across Europe and is set to leave a lasting impression in The Hague as well. Expect fast, acidy yet refined sequences that occasionally reach an almost gabber/hardcore intensity.
