Fraction, Louis-Philippe St-Arnault & Guillaume Bourassa – Entropia

‘Entropia’ is an immersive audio-visual performance that explores the spatial interaction between sound, physical light, and 360° visuals. It aims to create an immersive scape made of interconnected layers of media.

The performance is based on an audio-reactive geodesic led filled sphere that keeps a constant interaction with immersive visual projection, and is synchronized to the sound. Sound artist Fraction, aka Eric Raynaud, stands inside the sphere while the visual team performs real-time pixel mapping and generative visuals.

This performance will take place in the Fulldome, an immersive 360-degree projection environment by The Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) of Montréal. With a diameter of about 15 meters, the dome structure hosts five state-of-the-art immersive live performances developed in SAT’s research program for digital arts. Read more about the other shows on the pages linked below.

This project is presented in the framework of We Are Europe in collaboration with Elevate Festival.
