Aram Bartholl

Aram Bartholl is renowned for his works on internet culture and reality. ‘Greenscreen’ is a performance-intervention in public space. Random passers-by are ‘caught’ in a portable green screen, unknowingly becoming actors of an imaginary movie set. Bartholl aims to show us current alternative realities that we are simultaneously a part of. The green-screen background represents unlimited layers of augmentation in a post-media everyday life.
