Jacqueline Heerema (The Hague, 1958) is conceptual artist, studied museology, works as independent urban curator and is founding director and curator of Satellietgroep, based in The Hague since 2006.

Artists collective Satellietgroep explores through arts the social and ecological impact of the sea and coastal transitions on cities, people, communities and environments in The Netherlands and abroad. Heerema invented the dynamic concept of innovatory coastal heritage, acts as a catalyst between society, arts and science and collects, connects and interconnects local knowledge on a global level.
