TodaysArt LAB

TodaysArt LAB is a platform and global network, dedicated to the celebration of art, creativity and digital culture. TodaysArt LAB cooperates with knowledge institutes, media, cultural institutions and academies, artists and designers.

At a time in the history of the arts where digital technology has revolutionized communication, distribution, democratised access, and re-imagined the scope and scale with which an artist can create a vision and reach an audience, TodaysArt LAB is a new kind of arts and culture channel for a new kind of world.

It began in 2010 with two mandates: On one hand, to exist as a modern day media channel continuously identifying and celebrating the work of visionary artists wherever they are. On the other hand, acting as a content creation atelier.

Now, in 2011, we are expanding our commitment to supporting the arts by introducing the TodaysArt LAB, an arts initiative that will facilitate the production and dissemination of new work, as well as collaborations between artists from a variety of creative disciplines.

Distribution of the content takes place at www.todaysart.org, via a variety of other media including online, mobile, print, and festival series that began rolling out in diverse cultural centers around the world in 2011. The series embarked in The Hague with a collection of curated artworks, films, panel discussions and live performances from artists all around the world. It is now expanding to Brussels, Kobe and Buenos Aires.

Welcome to the new era of creativity and innovation.
