We would like to thank everyone who attended, participated, supported, embraced and criticized TodaysArt 2011. We leapt into the void together, and it was an amazing experience.
TodaysArt Session #6 / 18 December / Paard Van Troje
On 18 December, Session #6 will take place during State-X New Forms. In collaboration with STEIM and Unifiedfield, TodaysArt presents Future Sound Of Folk, a Post-Folk music collective from Indonesia consisting of One Man Nation, Jimbot and Bamboo Wukir. The second half of the programme features Pierre Bastien, Andy Moor and dj sniff. Read more
TodaysArt Session #5 / 28 October / Korzo
On the 28th of October, the 5th edition of the TodaysArt Sessions focuses on contemporary electronica from the Nordic region and features established and upcoming artists from Norway, Finland and Iceland. Expect adventurous live and DJ-sets ranging from dark and mysterious ambient soundscapes to euphoric, dub and bass-heavy, glitchy and minimalistic club music. TodaysArt in Paris and Moscow
TodaysArt director Olof van Winden has been invited by the Délégation générale du Québec à Bruxelles to visit Festival Némo in Paris next weekend, to give a presentation about the TodaysArt Festival and its global network.
The weekend after that, Olof and Remco Schuurbiers (head of programme TodaysArt The Hague) have been invited by MediaArtLab to travel to Moscow, to take part in the PRO&CONTRA symposium on media culture development, which will take place at the 4th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art.
