Dimitri Vossen

Dimitri Vossen writes for Gonzo (Circus) magazine about music and culture. His articles and essays trace the emergence of disruptive technologies and developments in the music industry. His interviews focus on young musicians on the brink of a breakthrough (Chelsea Wolfe, Ty Segall), or established artists that have proven to be pioneers and individualists (Mike Patton, Howe Gelbe). Dimitri’s work in the business (handling communication for the stoner rock festival Desertfest and music agency Metadrone) provides him with a unique perspective as a journalist.

Vossen also performs and produces music, anything from playing bass in the folkrock band Birds That Change Colour, to running an online instrumental hiphop label, NAPE Records, to composing soundtracks for movies and commercials.
