Aleksi Perälä

“You know that feeling when you hear a really amazing song and your hairs go up on your body?” This is how Finnish artist Aleksi Perälä, in a recent Resident Advisor interview, describes the novel tuning system Colundi that fostered his creativity to create his subtle techno sets, full of uncanny melodies and hypnotic sounds. Born in Finland in 1976, Perälä has been an independent producer and an electronic music composer for over 20 years, self-releasing an enormous amount of music, mostly under a series of pseudonyms.

Aleksi Perälä is presented in co-curation with Reworks festival, as part of the We are Europe network (supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union).
