We are delighted to announce the two winning projects of the TodaysArt 2016 Open Call! We received 101 applications from all over the globe, of which 19 made it to the second round.

After careful consideration, the jury has selected the following project for TodaysArt 2016:

The Politics of Queuing and the Architecture of Queues by Pablo Calderón Salazar, Rebekka Kiesewetter, LaJetée, Marginal en Parasite 2.0

The jury praised The Politics of Queuing and the Architecture of Queues as a strong work with consideration to the theme and sees it as a great contribution to the festival program.

The jury consisted of Olof van Winden, Petra Heck, Remco Schuurbiers, Tim Terpstra, Peter Zuiderwijk and Gwyneth Wentink.

We aim to commission new groundbreaking works and are excited with the contribution of so many excellent proposals. We want to thank everyone for their time and dedication. Congratulations to the winning project; more details of TodaysArt 2016 will follow!
