Nest – Sarah & Charles: Moving a Brick Through Water

A Nest-filling installation in which all is connected and in which past and present, facade and real life as well as the work and the making of constantly switch positions. Just like with their previous presentation ‘Suspension of disbelief’ which was on display at Nest in 2014, Sarah & Charles continue their play with visual and narrative contradictions. For the form as well as for the content goes: ‘What you see is not what you get’.

Moving a brick through water’ is a coproduction of Nest and Netwerk (Aalst, Belgium) and will be on display at Netwerk from the 5th of december 2015 until the 6th of March 2016.
