The International Kite Festival Scheveningen makes the most of the consistent prevailing winds blowing along The Hague’s beach resort. Kite builders and enthusiasts from around the world come together to fly the fruits of their creative labour. The annual event sees the skies over the southern part of Scheveningen beach fill with kites of every shape and colour. Visitors also get to stay up to date with the latest in kite-powered sport, from kite-surfing and kite-yachting to kite-skateboarding and kite-skiing.
