Rogério Brandão, aka DJ Nigga Fox, released his magnificent debut ‘O Meu Estilio’ 12’’ in 2014 on Príncipe Discos. According to most critics, there was and there is nothing quite like this, even in Lisbon’s ever more productive and creative beat-based music. Brandão uses what he learned from local producers and tracks coming in from Luanda (Angola) to create a new hybrid, informed by kuduro, afro-house, Angolan deep, tarraxinha and batida, creating some of the dopest, freshest music heard in years. DJ Nigga Fox was praised by Wire, FACT Magazine, Resident Advisor, and many more for his excellent albums and his thunderous performances in many European clubs and festivals such as Unsound Festival, Sónar and Roskilde.
