‘Late Speculation’ is a synchronistic exploration of electronic music and dynamic, linear visuals of widths in flux.
Visceral and abstract, NONOTAK play with the viewer’s relationship to perspective, light and sensed environment while demonstrating their unique and direct aesthetic sensibilities, inviting the audience to be submerged into an art form which is at once geometric and minimalist.
NONOTAK is the collaboration between the illustrator Noemi Schipfer and the architect and musician Takami Nakamoto created in late 2011. In early 2013, they started to work on light and sound installations and performances, creating an ethereal, immersive and dreamlike environment meant to envelope the viewer, capitalizing on Nakamoto’s approach of space and sound and Schipfer’s experience in kinetic visuals. They presented their works and performances at MUTEK / ELEKTRA, Mapping Festival, KIKK, Stereolux, Nuit Blanche Paris, Axcess Art and Mirage.
