Heather Phillipson works across video, sculpture, music, text and live events.

Conflating sex, language and consumption, ’A Is to D What E Is to H’ journeys through literal and metaphorical spillages – the overflow between information, body and world. The mouth becomes the literal interface – a portal for language and sensual experience.

Events by Phillipson in 2014 include Tate Britain, Serpentine Gallery, ICA, Palais de Tokyo, Dundee Contemporary Arts, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and Channel 4 television.

Heather Phillipson’s work will be on display as part of the exhibition ‘the fluidity aspect’, which runs from the 25th of September until the 5th of October. Find more information about the exhibition here.
