Laimonas Zakas (aka Glitchr) started VJing in clubs across Lithuania in 2008 and several years later created his notorious social media breaking campaign Glitchr. Since then he opened several solo shows in Lithuania, Italy and the Internet and continues to VJ at parties and festivals across Europe combining found footage, glitch art, net aesthetics and obscure 3d graphics into his visuals. Zakas is currently studying media technology at Leiden University in The Netherlands.
You may have seen his Facebook page or Twitter account which are bold statements against the white walls of corporate unity (and standard HTML protocol), filled with Unicode characters that infuse, confuse and explode outside of the typical parameters of what is allowed on social media.
