A project by Julian Oliver [NZ/DE], Damian Stewart [NZ/AT] and Arturo Castro [ES]
Presented in collaboration with NIMk

Artvertiser enables replacing signs, billboards, banners and other forms of advertising with artworks through Augmented Reality. TodaysArt will see the world premiere of the new Android (mobile operating system for smartphones) port of the Artvertiser platform. The art works will be created by participants of a three-day workshop. The results will be made visible to the audience in city walks through the Grote Marktstraat, which is an area increasingly surrounded by advertising and visual communication signals. During the walks, you will look at an advertising surface through the display of an Android device, the image is then digitally replaced with an artwork created by workshop participants!
