In the early nineties, Legowelt (Danny Wolfers) was inspired by the sounds of Detroit's Underground Resistance, Chicago's Farley Jackmaster Funk, The Hague's freaked out Lo-fi Chicago trax and the deep Detroit jams from Unit Moebius. He soon found Bunker Records and the rest is history. Legowelt plays live shows worldwide with his bad-ass style of crazy Italo disco, Chicago house and Detroit techno electro. After what would turn out to be the last Unit Moebius live performance ever (apart from the amazing performance at TodaysArt 06) Brian Chinetti quickly became a household name in the Bunker scene. From soulful excursions into minimal funk, deep disco, melodic freestyle and electro-stiffness, his work has above all a very thoughtful and soulful Chicago house feel. Orgue Electronique is not out there to recreate a forgotten sound, he rather picks out some bits and pieces and applies them to his own subtle analogue techniques.
