The Red Bull Music Academy is a platform for the exchange of ideas between those who shape our musical future. Great artists teach and inspire a new generation of dj's, beatmakers and musicians once every year. This year's Academy is held in the beautiful and culturally versatile city of Barcelona. Here, two groups of 30 talented musicians hear music wisdom straight from the source. The Red Bull Music Academy is where the undisputed champions of every genre step up and kick back, explaining exactly what they do and how they do it, letting no barriers of culture or pride get in the way. An outrageous array of instruments, equipment and software are there at their fingertips, and every moment presents a new collaboration.
During TodaysArt, the Red Bull Music Academy Radio team will be at the heart of the festival, speaking to the local makers and shakers and filling you in on the latest details, in between dropping some heavyweight tunes of the artists like Prins Thomas, Lindstrom, Legowelt, Chic Miniature, Orgue Electronique, Deadbeat, Claro Intelecto en Andy Stott. Both radio sessions, hosted by Eric van den Bogaard and Olaf Boswijk, will be recorded live and podcasted on Red Bull Music Academy Radio and DJ Broadcast.
