Keith Matthew Thornton, also known as Kool Keith and Dr. Octagon, is an American rapper and producer. After being a part of the legendary hiphop formation Ultramagnetic MC’s, Kool Keith made his debut as a solo artist in 1996.

Typical of 		his solo work is his range of different aliases and his creative use of language. Most people probably know him because of his voice in the chorus of the song ‘Smack My Bitch Up’ by the Prodigy, a fragment which was used without his permission.
