Pelagic Zone II
The Icelandic visual artist Helgi Kristinsson graudated from the KABK in June 2007 with an intriguing project: Pelagic Zone II. Pelagic comes from the Latin word pelagos, meaning seabed. Walking through the Schoolstraat, it appears as if you are close to sea. Pelagic Zone II floods you with images and sounds through speakers and tv’s, which are used as streetlights.
